
It’s the third week in May and it finally hit me. Summer break starts in just a few weeks! Wow, what a quick school year it’s been, at least in my household. Like for other work at home moms, the end of the school year and summer break for me comes with a mix of emotions. There’s the anticipation of spending extra time with my kids and getting a much needed break from both the morning rush and the nighttime homework routines. Yet there’s also the reality that I will no longer have the luxury of uninterrupted blocks of work time, unless I proactively take the time to plan out our summer.
